Posted Date : 05/16/2005 CST I-FREED in collaboration with Medical Bridges Inc. is continuing to supply medical supplies to Sri Lanka as part of its tsunami relief effort. This 40 ft. container with medical supplies provided by Medical Bridges will be leaving for Sri Lanka soon. The Ministry of Health supplied a list of needed items to I-FREED. In collaboration with Medical Bridges, we have done our best to find the matching equipment. Among the contents are a large number of hospital beds, wheel chairs, crutches, nebulizers, surgical supplies and other hospital supplies. The shipping cost for this container will be paid by Medical Bridges from donations they received in January, 2005. Volunteers from Medical Bridges and their staff will pack this container. I-FREED wishes to extend its sincere appreciation to Medical Bridges, its staff and volunteers for their commitment to helping the tsunami affected people of Sri Lanka.
