Donation Drive at Pasadena Public Library

Posted Date : 01/20/2005 CST
In the aftermath of the Tsunami disaster, the Pasadena Public Library in Texas contacted I-FREED and wanted to offer their services to help Sri Lanka. The Library setup a special area to request for donations and collect baby items that were donated by its patrons.
The donation drive was an instance success. The Library collected a large quantity baby bottles, diapers and baby items within a period of two weeks. The Library handed over the donated items and funds it had collected to I-FREED. The donation drive was also featured in the Pasadena Citizen Newspaper.
