Posted Date : 1/11/2005 CST I-FREED is coordinating a search and rescue mission for missing people to Sri Lanka with Texas Equusearch. Texas Equusearch team will volunteer its services and conduct daily searches to locate missing people for a period of at least ten days. The time period maybe extended if required or adequate funding is raised. Equusearch will have world class equipment such as four-wheel ATVs, night vision goggles, infrared cameras to help in their search. I-FREED is giving Texas Equusearch all the help and any relevant information need to start the search and rescue mission in Sri Lanka.
Update : 03/16/2005 CST The Texas Equusearch Team traveled to Sri Lanka during January, 2005. They were working with the Sri Lankan military in the recovery and search efforts for the missing people devastated by the recent tsunami. They were in the Ampara Region (Eastern Province of Sri Lanka), working at a site in the city of Kalmunai.
